Churroman (“we,” “us”) runs this website, churroman.co, and our churro stand at 7011 West Waters Avenue in Tampa, Florida. This policy explains what information the website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: you never need an account, we don’t use ad trackers or analytics, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
When you play our games
Saving a high score is always optional. If you save one, we store the three initials you pick, your score, which game it was for, and the date and time. To show each player once on the weekly boards and to keep the contest fair, your phone or computer makes a random player ID (a string of letters and numbers that isn’t tied to your name) that is saved along with your scores. When a score is saved online, we also make a claim code, which winners use to pick up their prize.
When you contact us
If you call, text, email or message us (for a party pack, catering or wholesale order, a job, or a contest prize), we receive what you share with us, such as your name, phone number or email address. We use it only to answer you and to take care of your order, application or prize.
Information sent automatically
Like every website, when your browser loads a page, our website host and the services listed below receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. We don’t use cookies or tracking tools for advertising or analytics.
Information kept on your own device
The site uses your browser’s storage (not cookies) to remember things on your phone or computer: your language choice, whether you closed our “Follow us” card, your game settings, your best scores, the initials you last used, your random player ID and your claim codes. This information stays in your browser unless a score is saved online as described above. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
How we use information
- To run the games, the high score boards and the weekly contest, and to check prize claims.
- To answer your questions and take care of your orders.
- To keep the site working and secure, and to keep inappropriate initials off the boards.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their marketing.
Services we use
- Supabase stores the online high scores and claim codes, and the live numbers on our home page (our Google rating and follower counts).
- Google: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, the home page shows a Google map of the stand, and our links open Google Maps and our Google reviews. When these load, Google receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, under Google’s own privacy policy.
- Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Yelp: we link to our pages and videos there. Once you visit those sites, their own privacy policies apply.
- Our website host, which delivers the pages to your browser.
Children
Our games are made for kids and families. The games never ask for a name, email address, phone number or home address: only three letters for the score board. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The random player ID is used only to run the score boards, so each player is listed once and the contest stays fair. Contest prizes are claimed by a parent or guardian (18 or older). If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
How long we keep information
The weekly score boards start over every week, and the all-time boards keep the top scores. We keep contact details from orders and prize claims only as long as we need them for that order or claim and for our business records. You can ask us to remove a score at any time.
Your choices
- Play without saving a score: tap Skip when the game asks for initials.
- Clear this site’s data in your browser to remove your player ID, best scores and settings from your device.
- Contact us to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we keep, but no website or service can promise perfect security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
