Jacinto Ramos, the original Churroman, started frying churros at the flea market on Anderson and Waters in 1973. More than 50 years later, our family still makes every churro from scratch with the same secret family recipe, fried fresh to order at our location on West Waters Avenue in Town ’N Country. Today that adds up to about 16,000 churros a week.
Come by for lunch or dinner and try our beef sirloin or chicken empanadas, made with our own family recipe, and add a papa rellena or croquetas on the side. Then stay for dessert: our famous traditional churros, our stuffed churros rellenos, or a loaded churro bowl filled with ice cream, churros, and delicious toppings.
Longtime Tampa customers still remember their parents and grandparents bringing them for churros after grocery shopping, and today they bring their own children and grandchildren. Read our reviews, then visit us in person to see why customers so often call ours the “best churros in Tampa.”

What are your hours?
10am to 10pm Monday through Saturday, and 12pm to 10pm on Sunday. Check our Instagram or Facebook for day-to-day updates on closures.
Are your churros vegan?
Yes, our churros are vegan. They share fryer oil with our meat and cheese items, and some sauces and fillings contain dairy, so just ask.
Are your churros made fresh?
Always. We make every churro from scratch with our secret family recipe and fry it fresh to order. We never use premade churros from food distributors.
